ABOUT THE AUTHOR(S)
The inspiration for Jenny McWhinney’s embroidery comes from nature itself. Her early needlework projects involved simple stitches, “coloring in” with threads the creatures she had drawn. From there, she progressed to using a greater variety of stitches and threads, achieving a more sophisticated effect with stitch direction and color, creating her now-signature style. She has a strong following thanks to her many magazine articles published in Australia and internationally, and her fascinating classes conducted throughout Australia.
