David LaRochelle is the author of the award-winning picture books The End, illustrated by Richard Egielski, and The Best Pet of All, illustrated by Hanako Wakiyama. A former elementary school teacher who loved teaching math, David now adds, subtracts, and occasionally multiplies and divides, in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
