Internships at Sterling Publishing

CALLING ALL INTERNS! Sterling Publishing Co., Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Barnes & Noble is looking for interns in the areas of:

• Adult Editorial
• Children’s Editorial
• Marketing/Publicity
• Subsidiary Rights
• General Administration

In addition to working with our creative and talented staff, our internships provide a well-rounded experience educating interns on all facets of the book publishing world. You will sit in on Lunch & Learns, have face to face time with our President as well as receive tools and tips on finding that dream job!

We are seeking creative, innovative, risk takers who aren’t afraid to think “out of the box’ and make an impact within their respective department as well as the organization. We require our interns to bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow. All of our interns must have a strong interest in book publishing!

Internship details as follows:

• Internships are for credit only.
• Interns will work 28 hours per week.
• Transportation and daily meal stipend will be provided.
