Avoid Living in a Virus Pandemic!

• Don't believe everything you read online! Check the science, and don’t share wacky ideas—they can be dangerous.
• A face covering helps to protect people from disease. It traps some of the water droplets that carry germs.
• Germs can survive for a while on surfaces, so it's important to keep your hands clean by washing them thoroughly with soap.
• During a pandemic, try to avoid crowded places, such as big events or public transportation.

Anne Rooney studied at Trinity College, Cambridge, where she gained a PhD in an obscure topic and soon after became a full-time writer. She now writes for adults and children, mostly on science and the history of science. Anne lives in Cambridge, England.
David Antram studied at Eastbourne College of Art and then worked in advertising for 15 years before becoming a full-time artist. He has illustrated many children's nonfiction books.
